Traditional Uses:  The melaleuca or tea tree leaves have been used by the aborigines to heal wounds and infections for centuries.

Properties: Antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, antiparasitic, anti-inflammatory, expectorant, immune stimulant, tissue regenerative

Mental & Emotional Effects:  Purifying, cleansing, bringing light and warmth

Benefits:  Strong medicinal properties make it useful in fungal and bacterial infections, skin conditions such as acne and gum disease. Can be used with light dilution on effected areas

Blends well with:  Citrus oils, eucalyptus, lavender, geranium, nutmeg, rosemary, and thyme

Other Interesting Notes: Can be used with therapeutic inhale for respiratory and sinus infections. Can be diluted with water to tonify and cleanse the skin especially overly oily skin types.
